It’s been a crazy year…

My year in review

• I turned 30!
• Became a father
• Celebrated my first anniversary with my beautiful wife
• Purchased our first new car (Pontiac G6)
• Filed a joint tax form for the first time (wish I had thought that through first ;( )
• Organized WordCamp Toronto 2009
• Learned jQuery (man it rocks!)
• Started playing music again, and stopped…
• Quit smoking, and started again…
• Merged my old Company BackSpaceStudios with an advertising agency in Seattle
• Closed BackSpaceStudios and started digibomb
• Left teaching Seneca after 7 years
• Left freelance and started a new full time job with a tech firm
• Moved to Montreal, Canada
• Started speaking French again
• Reunited with old friends
• Lived happily ever after…

…and I’m sure there is more ;0

I am looking forward to a  bigger and better year ahead, 2010 is going to my year! I have many great things on the go and can’t wait to see where they lead. In terms of resolutions, don’t have any! Besides, I usually break them any ways.

Where to begin…

I have worked with some exceptional individuals this year on some really great projects, had to opportunity to travel a bit and give back to community at many great conferences/events/meetups/etc, dropthedigibomb readership has doubled (thank you to everyone who visits and reads the blog), twitter has been good to me, facebook has helped with stress (ok, sometimes…it was the cause of stress as well), and PHUG is almost ready to re-launch!

Well, it’s the end of a decade!
