I’m heading to WordCamp Miami this weekend to discuss “Building a Community Around your Blog“. I will also demo Vanilla’s new WordPress plugin suite to illustrate how easy it to add a “real” community to your WordPress site!

I’ve never been to Miami before, so despite the fat I have to leave my wife and son behind, I am really looking forward to some nice weather! I’m also excited to be the only Canadian speaker at the event. However, I will be traveling with @pluc, WordPress developer, friend, and fellow Montrealer. We will have to show them Floridians how we do in Mtl!
